Make Something Monday : Custom Makeably Drawing

I really am enjoying being a part of the new startup, Makeably.

Anastasia and Ryan, the founders, are former Google employees who both thought it would be awesome to have a site devoted to making custom items. They recently launched the site and I was privileged to be part of the launch.

Here is my most recent project: A drawing of a very happy couple. I love getting more practice drawing different people and in this case using color!

Make Something Monday : Update on Celebrity Paper Dolls

I told you guys a little while back that I was going to start making articulated (moveable) paper dolls inspired by old Hollywood stars. 

I just sold an order of 6 of these guys to Louisville, Kentucky. It was nice to have such a large order and to figure out just how I wanted to package them.

I used chipboard, paper, and cello bags. Each doll came with a one of their famous quotes.
